JOHNNY BLAZE LEAVITT (Dean)

An actor, playwright, producer and comedian, Johnny is happy to be back with The Pack, playing the amazing Dean Martin! Favorite roles include Tom in Hurt So Good (Point of You Productions), Terry Du Bois in A Midwinter's Tale (Point of You), and Feste the Clown in Twelth Night (American Theatre of Actors).

Recent TV/Film includes Hot Mess (Amy Kersten, Prod.) MYTH, A Short Film (Loosely Translated Prod.),

Remedy (The One That Got Away Prod.) and spotted performing stand-up comedy around NYC (including Caroline's on Broadway). SAG/AFTRA, EMC

TONY DIMEGLIO (Frank)

Tony Di Meglio is a classically trained vocalist specializing in several genres of singing. He is an Air Force brat originally from Los Angeles, California until settling in Omaha, Nebraska with his family. He graduated from Bellevue West High School and then went on to train at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa under Professor Leanne Freeman-Miller. MICHAEL SANDERS (Sammy) 

Michael Louis Sanders is thrilled to be apart of The Ratpack Undead this season. He is a recent graduate of Circle In the Square Theatre School, class of 2019. He is excited to start his journey outside of school with a show such as The Ratpack Undead, where he is able to show off his classically trained singing abilities and starlike personality. He’d like to give special thanks to his mother for always supporting him throughout his artist journey.

CREATIVE TEAM

 

Cooper Jordan (Creator/Co-Lyricist, Producer/Director) has been thrilled to produce The Rat Pack Undead across the Northeast from Atlantic City to Times Square to New England, with the show's two year residency at Times Scare on 42nd Street. Cooper was the Managing Director & Producer of The Elektra Theater Off-Broadway where he produced over 50 shows including the hits New York's Got Talent and Miles Thorn Master Illusionist. 

Cooper is a wide range Actor/Producer between New York & Atlantic City and is continuously excited for the future of this show! Biggest thanks to Gene, Julie, Eddy & Anthony Edwards, Gary Marino, Stephanie, Marilyn, Mom, Dad, & Zoe, and Grant for all their support and encouragement on this production. 

Grant Bowen (Co-Lyricist) is excited to take part in The Rat Pack Undead! Grant has been seen on the NY stage in Turtleback High (Secret Theater), GRIMM: A New Musical (New York International Fringe Festival 2012), alongside Rat Pack's producer/conceiver Cooper Jordan. Past credits include Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Joseph), Baby (Danny), Parade (Frankie Epps), Calamity Jane (Francis Fryer), Hazel Kirke (Barney). Grant has also served as a Production Assistant on the webseries Submissions Only and the 56th Annual Drama Desk Awards.

 

 

Michael Thomas Murray (Music Director) Actor, pianist, composer, writer and music director, MICHAEL THOMAS MURRAY currently works with Sharon Klein Productions on his award-winning show, Echoes of Etta, his new creation, Sisters of Soul, and Who Loves You: The Frankie Valli Tribute. He arranged, played and music-directed for the on-stage bands in New York hit shows 50 Shades! The Musical, and Forever Dusty, appeared with his own shows at New York's top venues including Birdland, Joe's Pub and the Cafe Carlyle, and in acting roles in Off-Broadway productions including Murder Mystery Blues and Everything in the Garden. Television appearances include Celebrity Ghost Stories, Mysteries at the Museum and Mind of a Murderer. His show Echoes of Etta was featured on the 2014 NBC Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade broadcast.

 


Avital Asuleen (Choreographer) is a longtime Ratpack fan, and so excited to be working on The Rat Pack Undead! Favorite recent projects include assistant directing and choreographing "Nymph Errant" for Prospect Theater Company, Choreographing "Rags" for Beautiful Soup Theater Company, and observing choreographer Randy Skinner on "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes" at Encores!. She has presented concert dance at Steps on Broadway, Dance New Amsterdam, Green Space Studios, and in the Undertoe Dance Festival. Avital has also performed at Surflight Theater, La Comedia Theater, The Broward Stage Door, and at Reagle Music Theater. Avital is currently assistant directing "Teacher From The Black Lagoon" for Theatreworks USA, and creating "Ephemera"- a new site specific piece of dance theater. www.Asuleen.com

 

 

RAT PACK UNDEAD Original Off-Bway WORKSHOP CAST (April 2013)

Jonathan Green (Frank) is an Actor & Writer who hails from Corbin, Kentucky. He studied the performing arts at The American Musical & Dramatic Academy and The Actors Studio in NYC. Stage credits include Henry IV Part I, Troilus and Cresida, Measure for Measure. Film Credits include 23 Blast, Shame the Devil, and The Trouble with Phil. He continuously thanks God and his family for their strength and support.

Daniel Mitchell (Dean) A San Francisco native, Daniel is grateful to the artistic/production staff for the opportunity to perform the music he grew up with and loves.  New York credits include "4@15" (York Theatre Company), "L!F# Happens" (Off-8th Collective).  Regional: Texas Shakespeare Festival, San Francisco Playhouse, San Jose City Lights.  Graduate of University of California at Irvine, and Foothill Theatre Conservatory.  Thanks to his family for their continued love and support.

ERICK CARTER (Sammy)

Erick Carter is honored and humbled to step in the shoes of the inimitable Sammy Davis Jr. Erick was born and raised in Abilene, Texas and made his Times Square debut with The Rat Pack UnDead last April. He graduated Abilene Christian University (BFA Theatre). Some of his favorite roles include Jimmy Early in Dreamgirls, Seaweed in Hairspray, and Benny in Rent. Erick would like to thank his family for their continued support, his incredibly talented fellow cast mates, and the producer, director and crew for "bringing to life" such a unique and hilarious show. Erick dedicates his performance to the memory of three legendary men and an incredible bond of friendship. "You always have two choices: your commitment versus your fear." - Sammy Davis Jr.

Alex Birnie (Buble) New York, leading roles: Rope (Random Access Theatre), American English (17 Frost Theater), Jars (The Secret Theatre), Smart Alex (Sparrowtree Theatre), I Loved Sam Stone (The Tank NYC). Reading of Cruel Shoes at 2012 NYMF. Regional: The All-Night Strut, Love Letters Made Easy (Lost Nation Theater). Other credits: Featured Soloist in 2008 Sondheim & Rich Interview Tour, Vieux Carré, Reefer Madness, Sunday in the Park with George. As a music artist throughout New York City: Highline Ballroom, Mercury Lounge, Rockwood Music Hall, Sullivan Hall. Graduate of Oberlin College & Conservatory. John Ball (U/s Frank & Dean) John recently graduated from Hofstra University with a BFA in performance. He is thrilled to be a part of Rat Pack Undead and would like to thank Cooper and Ryan for the opportunity to work with such talented and hardworking individuals, as those who have worked on and are in this show. He thanks you for your patronage and hopes you enjoy the performance.

Ryan McCurdy (Original Music Direction) Multi-instrumentalist Ryan McCurdy has been seen and heard on stages across the United States. He currently works in New York as a private music teacher, for the Broadway production of Once, and as the pianist/guitarist for rock vocalist Jana DeBusk. New York venue credits include B.B. King Blues Club, The Bitter End, Elektra Theater, & The Minskoff Theatre.  His first album of instrumentals and soundscapes, Dopp, is available on iTunes.
